Tyson Corley begins his first year as a ThunderBolt and seventh as a professional in 2012. He signed with Windy City on April 24, 2012. Corley has spent the past six seasons in the Chicago White Sox farm system after being drafted in the 13th round of the amateur entry draft in 2006. In 2011 Corley spend the year splitting time between the White Sox's Double A affiliate Birmingham Barons and Triple A affiliate Charlotte Knights. In his six seasons in the minors he has compiled an 8-23 record with a 3.76 ERA and 27 saves. Born in Enid, Oklahoma, Corley pitched for the University of Kansas in 2005 and played his high school ball at Mill Valley High School in Shawnee, Kansas.
