Sam Dodge made his collegiate debut in Harvard’s fourth game of the season at Jacksonville State (3/5/11), earning the start and going 2.2 innings, in which he struck out three. Dodge threw a scoreless inning of relief against Holy Cross on 3/30/11, and 1.2 innings of scoreless relief at Bryant on 4/7/11.
Last summer, Dodge served as the Bay Sox’s closer. He played in 13 games and recorded 10 saves, while striking out 13. Dodge was one of three Bay Sox players to be selected to the 2011 NECBL All-Star Game.
Back in high school, Dodge earned five letters in baseball and basketball at Bishop Feehan. He earned two-time Eastern Athletic Conference and All-Sun Chronicle honors. Dodge was also invited to the East Coast Professional Showcase and Area Code Games.
