Connor returns to the Knights for a second season. He hit .239 at Oregon this spring, with three homers and 14 RBIs.
Connor played strongly over the second half of the 2011 campaign. He hit .213, with one RBI, in 34 games and excelled defefensively.
Connor hit .212 in 23 games as an Oregon freshman in 2011, with no homers and four RBIs.
Connor was selected in the 16th round (484 overall) by the San Diego Padres in the 2010 MLB draft after hitting .438 as a senior at St. Augustine High School in San Diego.
He was a San Diego CIF First Team selection, a First-Team North County All-Star, the Eastern League MVP, and an Eastern League All-Star as a senior and junior.
