Magrane was the 2009 Atlantic League Pitcher of the Year and finished that season as the first ever pitcher to lead the league in wins, ERA, and strikeouts. He finished with a 15-4 record, a 2.70 ERA, and 134 strikeouts in 183 innings pitched in 27 games. Magrane’s 15 wins tied a Patriots single-season record with Brian Adams (2007).
