Shane Zegarac originally signed with the ThunderBolts prior to the 2009 season and started four games before being drafted by the Texas Rangers. After two seasons in the Rangers system, culminating at high-A Bakersfield in 2010, he rejoined Windy City's roster on July 27, 2011. Shane attended St. Joseph's College in Indiana and went 5-4 his senior year with a 4.09 ERA. Prior to that, he spent a season at Eastern Kentucky University out of Thornton Fractional South High School in Lansing, Illinois.
