Garner started the season with the Rockford RiverHawks. Prior to Rockford, Garner spent a little over two seasons with the Windy City ThunderBolts. Last year he went 0-3 with three saves and a 3.19 earned-run average in 40 games out of the bullpen. In 2009, Garner compiled a 3-4 record with an 8.62 earned-run average in 30 total appearances and five starts. 

Prior to joining the Frontier League, Garner was in the St. Louis Cardinals farm system, reaching as high as the Class A Advanced Palm Beach Cardinals in the Florida State League. 


Drafted by the Cardinals in the 18th round in 2005, Garner is entering his sixth professional season. He holds a 7-14 career record with a 5.21 earned-run average in 150 games and 16 starts.
