Drew Rucinski spent most of 2011, his rookie season, in the Cleveland Indians organization after the Tribe signed him following one start and two innings pitched. Rucinski spent time with the Arizone Rookie League Indians, Mahoning Valley Scrappers (Short-Season A) and the Lake County Captains (Full-Season A).

Rucinski returned to Rockford last season. Rucinski compiled a seven win, four loss record and an ERA of 3.15 in 15 starts and 22 appearances.
