Scott Hodsdon is a 6-2, 195 lbs. right handed pitcher from Glendora, California who attended Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California. Hodsdon was drafted in the 6th round by the Oakland Athletics in the 2007 MLB Draft. In 2007, Hodsdon started his professional career with the Vancouver Canadians of Vancouver, British Columbia, in which he posted a 7-1 record with a 4.57 ERA in 16 games mainly as a starting pitcher. In 2008, Hodsdon played for the Kane County Cougars of Geneva, Illinois in which he posted a 5-8 record with a 2.92 ERA in 25 games as a starter. In 2009, Hodsdon played for two teams, the Sacramento River Cats, of Sacramento, California, and the Stockton Ports of Stockton, California in which he posted a combined record of 6-10 with a 5.16 ERA in 29 games as a starter. In 2010, Hodsdon played for the Stockton Ports in which he posted a 2-3 record with a 6.18 ERA in 45 games as a relief pitcher. In 2011, Hodsdon played one game with the Stockton Ports before moving to the El Paso Diablos in which he posted a combined record of 14-8 with a 4.19 ERA in 40 games as a starting pitcher from 2011 to 2012.
