#17 Bobby Martin - Player Profile

Martin is a junior infielder out of Valparaiso University and will join the Rafters for his first season in 2011. He is a well-traveled infielder who has played at Ohio University and Heartland before joining Valparaiso this year. Martin hit .395 with four home runs at Heartland after playing 24 games at Ohio in 2009. Martin’s experience earned him a starting spot at shortstop in his first season. The marketing major earned all conference honors in baseball, while lettering in basketball at Prairie Ridge High School.
