agan is the first Princeton Tiger in River Bats history. Fagan struggled in his first season with the Tigers. He went 1-2 with a 14.33 ERA. He made 11 appearances and started six games. Michael struck out 19 batters in 27 innings. Michael won First Team All-Citrus League in each of his four high school seasons. Fagan received the Citrus West Player of the Year award as a senior. His record stood at 5-2 in his final campaign at San Diego Jewish Academy. He punched out 103 batters. These numbers fell well short of his outstanding junior year. Michael took home his first Player of the Year Award in his third season as a Lion. He won 11 games, and lost just three. Fagan set the San Diego area record with a phenomenal 183 k's. Michael also won Citrus League Pitcher of the Year honors twice in his high school career. These superb stats caught the eyes of the San Diego Padres. The Friars drafted Fagan in the 45th round of the 2010 MLB Draft. He decided to stay in school and attend Princeton.
