WITH THE EXPRESS: McDaniel joins the Express for his second season after a successful 2010 campaign. McDaniel served as a starter the entire season and went 8-3. He pitched Game 3 of the Divsion Series against the Wisconsin Woodchucks and got the win going 6.2 innings. He finished the season with a 3.67 ERA in 12 starts and logged 73.2 innings for the Express.

Joined San Diego State last season from the state of Hawaii where he received all-state recognition all four years of high school ... Will likely be deployed as a member of the Aztec bullpen this season ... Competed with the Eau Claire Express in the Northwoods League during summer 2010 ... Made 12 starts on the mound and went 8-3 with a 3.67 earned run average ... Played summer baseball in 2009 for the Dirtbags in Mililani, Hawaii.
