#27 Drew Freie - Player Profile

WITH THE EXPRESS: Freie returns in 2011 as a temporary player after serving two stints with the Express in 2010. Freie began as a temp player and came back to finish the season as roster space became available. He was a key reliever for the Express down the stretch. Freie appeared in 13 games for the Express and finished with a 2.67 ERA, including a 1.59 ERA in the regular season. He went 3-0 with three saves and pitched a total of 30.1 innings.

AS A FRESHMAN: In 21 appearances with Des Moines Area Community College, Freie went 9-2 with a 1.60 ERA in 39 innings pitched. He collected 29 strikeouts and seven saves.
