Originally from Davenport, Iowa, Golden comes to Madison after signing a temporary contract out of Blackhawk Community College. He has played in Blackhawk’s infield in each of the past two seasons, leading the team in twelve offensive categories in 2010 and to a #3 ranking in the May 23rd releasing of the NJCAA polls this past season. Overall, Golden has great discipline at the plate and has a knack for scoring runs, hitting .419 and scoring 121 times in his brief college career.
