One of the youngest members of the Bears’ roster, the left-hander from Queens last played college baseball, first at Missouri Baptist College and last year at Brewton-Parker College. Gonzalez is one of the pure rookies on the Bears’ roster and fits the mission of the Can-Am League well. This marks his first season in professional baseball.
