Made his major-league debut in 2007 with the Detroit Tigers. Has a career major-league record of 2-6 in 19 appearances. Played last season in the Rays system at triple-A Durham. Went 6-2 with a 4.88 ERA in 12 starts. Was originally drafted by the Tigers in the 7th. round of the 2003 MLB Draft. His minor-league stats consist of a 68-54 record with a 4.24 ERA in 172 starts. Went 14-6 with a 3.64 ERA in 2004 with Western Michigan (low-A Detroit). Went 12-5 with a 3.48 ERA for triple-A Toledo (Detroit) in 2007. Pitched collegiately at UC-Santa Barbara.
