Last season with the Monarchs, Moyer saw 14.1 innings of action and ranked fourth on the team in strikeouts with 15. He posted a 1-3 record and gave up zero hits out of the park.

In 2010, he appeared in six games for the Broncos in 12.2 innings of work on the mound. Moyer sat out his 2009 freshman year at WMU as a redshirt.

The southpaw is a native of Sylvania Northview High School. He combined for 148 strikeouts and 10 wins in two seasons for the Wildcats. He earned an impressive 2.01 ERA and was named first-team all-league in 2007 and second team in 2008. He was also a selection to Team Ohio.

Moyer was born Sept. 19, 1990 in Sylvania, Ohio and is the son of Stan and Sue Moyer. He is currently studying computer science at WMU.
