DeMark owns an outstanding career 2.89 ERA, having pitched almost entirely in the San Diego Padres organization. The righty has reached Triple-A Portland in both of the last two seasons, appearing in 30 games for the Beavers last year. DeMark, 27, hails from Jeannette, Pa.
