#30 Miguel Mejia - Player Profile

Miguel joins the Bluefish for his first season in the Atlantic League and third of professional baseball. Last year, the righthander was a member of the Detroit Tigers organization, splitting time between Connecticut, West Michigan and Lakeland. Over the course of 35 combined appearances, he posted a 6-3 record with a 2.80 ERA and 66 strikeouts in 70.2 innings of work. The 26-year-old made his professional debut in 2009 with the Gulf-Coast League Tigers after being signed as a non-drafted free agent.
