Prentice returns to the Park City for his third season in the Atlantic League and 15th of professional baseball. The outfielder appeared in 131 games for the Bluefish last year recording a .282 batting average and also led the ‘Fish with 38 doubles, 21 home runs, 79 runs scored and 82 RBI. He was named the post-season Atlantic League All-Star team for his efforts.

The 33-year-old has made one stop at the Major League level as a member of the New York Mets in 2003. In 15 games, he recorded three hits, including one home run in 24 at-bats. The slugger posted his best season as a professional in 2008 when he split time between Double-A West Tennessee and Triple-A Tacoma of the Mariners organization. In 454 combined at-bats, he batted .295 with 76 RBI and set career-highs in home runs (25), runs scored (97) and walks (61). In 1,533 career minor league games, Redman has a .280 batting average with 378 doubles, 182 home runs, 801 RBI, 896 runs scored and 213 stolen bases. He is also the brother of Tike Redman, who has spent six seasons in the big leagues and was a member of the Bluefish in 2010.

Prentice was selected by the New York Mets in the 10th round of the 1999 amateur draft.
