A native of Sparta, VA, Foltz attended college just three hours from his hometown at Bridgewater College. Foltz started off his college career with a 1.50 ERA which propelled him into the starting rotation the following year. In 70 innings, he went 5-3 while collecting 59 strikeouts yet allowing only 20 walks. In 2010, Foltz took his talents to the St. George Road Runners in Utah. A late add to the Road Runners roster, Foltz continued to put his control on display as he walked only two hitters in his 15 innings of work. In 2011, Foltz will continue his baseball trek to the western part of the United States as he will join the stacked bullpen of the Outlaws.
