#21 Robert Bono - Player Profile

Robert Bono was signed by the Rox on April 5, 2011. Bono played the 2010 season in the Florida Marlins' organization and split the year between High-A Jupiter (Florida State League) and Double-A Jacksonville (Southern League). He began professional career in 2007 after being drafted in the 11th round by the Houston Astros, playing with Greeneville, Tri-City and Lexington. Bono's best season came in 2009 with Lexington of the South Atlantic League, where he finished the year 10-8 with a 3.20 ERA and 66 strikeouts.
