The Corvallis Knights (4-0) continued to pile up the runs on Saturday, scoring three runs in the last three innings, on the way to a 13-1 landslide win over the Portland Toros (0-2) at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field.

A home run by Caleb Whalen helped the Corvallis Knights score four runs in the fourth. The Corvallis Knights had four hits in the inning.

Whalen racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Corvallis Knights.

Carlos Rodriguez got the win for the Corvallis Knights thanks to nine strikeouts. Rodriguez allowed one earned run, five hits and no walks over five innings.

Edward Crowe ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
