The Portland Bucks fall 12-4 at the hands of the Wenatchee AppleSox

The Portland Bucks (0-2) didn't put up much of a fight on Tuesday, as the Wenatchee AppleSox (3-0) cruised to a blowout 12-4 win in seven innings at WCL Field.

The Wenatchee AppleSox scored four runs in the first on a two-run double by Ryan Howell, a sacrifice fly by Taylor Sparks, and a sacrifice fly by Ryan Drobny.

Mitchell Gunsolus went a perfect 3-3 at the dish for the Wenatchee AppleSox. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the first and fifth innings.

The Portland Bucks couldn't get anything going as long as Taylor Jones was on the mound. The Portland Bucks managed just one hit off of Jones, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Bryce Jackson got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed four runs over four innings. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered three hits.

Jon Bjorkland couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Portland Bucks, taking a loss. He allowed 11 runs in five innings, walked one and struck out one.
