The Newark (8-10) built an early edge on Tuesday, but the Rockland (7-11) roared back to steal a 7-4 victory at Bears _ Eagles Riverfront Stadi.

A three-run double by Ryan Scoma gave the Rockland the lead in the seventh inning.

Scoma racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Rockland. He doubled in the seventh inning.

Pat Moran got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He allowed four runs over six innings. He struck out five, walked one and surrendered nine hits.

Jorge Vasquez couldn't get it done on the hill for the Newark, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
