The Chicago Zephyrs (9-18) continued to pile up the runs on Sunday, scoring eight runs in the last three innings, on the way to a 22-3 landslide win over the DeKalb County Liners (18-11) at Founders Field.

The Chicago Zephyrs scored eight runs in the ninth on , , , , an RBI single by Jake Jouris, a two-run single by kyle Renaud, and an RBI single by Ryan Adams.

Adams racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Chicago Zephyrs.

Joey Burney paced the DeKalb County Liners at the plate. Burney went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning.

Alan Frank improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Chicago Zephyrs. He allowed two runs over six innings. Frank struck out two, walked one and gave up five hits.

Tanner Funke (3-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in 1 1/3 innings, walked three and struck out one.
