The DeKalb County Liners (12-9) built an early edge on Wednesday, but the Illinois Lincolns (11-8) roared back to steal a 7-3 victory at Founders Field.

The Illinois Lincolns took the lead in the fifth inning on an RBI triple by Steve Kedroski.

The Illinois Lincolns were led by Conor Philbin's hitting. Philbin went 2-4 and scored two runs. He singled in the third and fifth innings.

The Illinois Lincolns relied on Lee Weld to eat up innings en route to the win. Weld pitched nine innings and allowed two earned runs, five hits and three walks while striking out seven.

Brian Estevez was solid at the plate for the DeKalb County Liners. Estevez went 2-2 and scored two runs. He singled in the first and third innings.

Tanner Funke (3-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked two and struck out four.
