David Zorn went 1-3 as the Alexandria Aces (26-31) took home a 7-2 victory over the Acadiana Cane Cutters (27-29) at Bringhurst Field on Thursday.

Tyler Vail picked up the win for the Alexandria Aces. Vail pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, six hits and two walks while striking out four.

Sam Malchar (4-3) took the loss for the Acadiana Cane Cutters. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
