The East Texas Pump Jacks (34-17) and the McKinney Marshals (18-30) each put runners in scoring position on Thursday, but the East Texas Pump Jacks capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 7-3 win at Driller Park.
Whitt Dorsey was solid at the plate for the East Texas Pump Jacks. Dorsey went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first innings and doubled in the seventh inning.
Cameron Gann brought the heat against the McKinney Marshals during his outing. The McKinney Marshals managed just three hits off of Gann, who allowed one earned run, walked three and struck out five during his six innings of work.
Kennedy Winn was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
