Brandon Wood had two extra base hits, sparking the Brazos Valley Bombers (32-20) to a 3-2 victory over the Woodlands Strykers (19-30) on Thursday at Brazos Valley Bank Ballpark.

Kyle Martin had an impressive outing against the Woodlands Strykers' lineup. Martin held the Woodlands Strykers hitless over six innings, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out six.

Derek Wade was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
