The McKinney Marshals (18-29) took down the Alexandria Aces 7-0 on Wednesday at Bringhurst Field after slamming the Alexandria Aces (22-28) with four runs in the sixth inning.

Storm Griffin looked sharp on the mound. The Alexandria Aces managed just one hit off of Griffin, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his three innings of work.

Sam Martin got the win, running his season record to 4-2. Martin struck out four, walked none and gave up two hits.

Nathan Aultman was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked five, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
