The East Texas Pump Jacks (31-12) beat the Alexandria Aces (19-23) 13-5 on Tuesday at Bringhurst Field after a seven-run explosion in the third inning.

Kash Kalkowski racked up two RBIs on one hit for the East Texas Pump Jacks. He homered in the third inning.

The Alexandria Aces' lineup had no answer for Braden Strickland. The Alexandria Aces managed just one hit off of Strickland, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Rene Moreda got on base four times in the game for the Alexandria Aces. He singled in the third and fourth innings and doubled in the sixth inning.

Jacob Lindgren recorded his second win of the year for the East Texas Pump Jacks. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out five, walked three and surrendered eight hits.

Colton Peek ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out one.

The East Texas Pump Jacks easily handled the Alexandria Aces pitching as six hitters combined for 11 hits, eight RBIs and 11 runs scored.
