The Alexandria Aces seize victory thanks to late hit into a fielder's choice, drop the Woodlands Strykers 10-7

The Alexandria Aces (25-30) and the Woodlands Strykers (21-33) passed the lead back and forth six times on Wednesday at Strykers Stadium, but in the end the Alexandria Aces pulled out a 10-7 win in eight innings over the Woodlands Strykers.

The Alexandria Aces finally managed to grab the lead after a strong sixth inning. A fielder's choice scored Mario Siller and Riley Colburn and gave the Alexandria Aces the lead for good.

Garren Palmer racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Alexandria Aces. He homered in the third inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Michael Aquino reached base three times in the game for the Woodlands Strykers. He scored two runs and had two RBIs. He homered in the first inning.

Nathan Aultman recorded his fourth win for the Alexandria Aces even though he allowed six runs over five innings. He struck out six, walked three and surrendered 10 hits.

Richard Bautista couldn't get it done on the mound for the Woodlands Strykers, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
