Jami Rachal went 2-2 as the Alexandria Aces (14-19) took home a 5-1 victory over the Victoria Generals (20-10) at Bringhurst Field on Saturday.

Ben Frith looked sharp on the mound. The Victoria Generals managed just one hit off of the the Alexandria Aces' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out seven during his three innings of work.

Trent Wagner did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Victoria Generals, reaching base two times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the fifth inning.

Rob Thomas improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Alexandria Aces. He allowed one run over six innings. He struck out four, walked three and surrendered three hits.

Tyler Schnuriger (1-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
