The McKinney Marshals took the lead in the fifth inning and held on for the victory. Scored Wes Jones and gave the McKinney Marshals the lead for good.
Krey Braston reached base two times. He singled in the first inning.
The Brazos Valley Bombers' lineup had no answer for Storm Griffin. Griffin held the Brazos Valley Bombers hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out none.
Kennedy Winn got the win, running his season record to 1-4. He allowed three runs over five innings. Winn struck out four, walked seven and gave up five hits.
Blake Bagley ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked two and struck out two.
