The East Texas Pump Jacks (23-6) and the Woodlands Strykers (9-20) exchanged the lead seven times on Wednesday, but the East Texas Pump Jacks ended up on top with an 8-7 win in 12 innings over the Woodlands Strykers.

The East Texas Pump Jacks got their bats going early, scoring three runs in the first inning to pull ahead of the Woodlands Strykers.

Taylor Murphy had a hot bat for the East Texas Pump Jacks. Murphy went 3-6, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth and twelfth innings.

Bryce Lombardi got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Derek Wade (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
