The Victoria Generals (17-9) rolled over the East Texas Pump Jacks (21-5) 9-3 on Monday at Driller Park after a five-run rally in the fourth inning.
Andrew Stumph racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Victoria Generals. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the fourth inning.
Dillon Newman struck out four hitters en route to the the Victoria Generals win. The Victoria Generals' pitcher tossed five innings of shutout ball and allowed only four hits.
The East Texas Pump Jacks were led by Logan Preston's hitting. Preston went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the first and sixth innings and doubled in the seventh inning.
Jacob Lindgren (0-2) took the loss for the East Texas Pump Jacks. He allowed seven runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked four and struck out three.
