Logan Davis brought home the winning run to give the East Texas Pump Jacks (23-5) the lead in the sixth inning, as the East Texas Pump Jacks hung on to beat the Brazos Valley Bombers (17-11) 6-5 on Sunday.

Kash Kalkowski singled to start the sixth. He then went from second to third on an RBI single by R.J. Santigate. Finally, Davis came to the plate with the East Texas Pump Jacks trailing by one, and singled, scoring Kalkowski and Santigate.

Davis racked up two RBIs on two hits for the East Texas Pump Jacks. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Brandon Wood reached base three times. He singled in the seventh inning.

Braden Strickland got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He allowed one run over 1 2/3 innings. Strickland struck out one, walked two and gave up one hit.

Ryan Santhon (1-1) took the loss for the Brazos Valley Bombers. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked four and struck out three.
