The Woodlands Strykers (6-15) didn't have a chance on Tuesday, as the Acadiana Cane Cutters (11-9) won in blowout fashion, 11-5 at Strykers Stadium.

The Acadiana Cane Cutters scored five runs in the first on a solo home run by Mike Barba, an error, an RBI single by Ladd Rhodes, and a two-run single by Austin Roussel.

Barba was hot from the plate for the Acadiana Cane Cutters. Barba went 2-6, drove in one and scored two runs.

The Woodlands Strykers couldn't get anything going as long as Ben Suit was pitching. The Woodlands Strykers managed just three hits off of Suit, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

Cooper Johnson (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
