The McKinney Marshals (2-17) didn't stand a chance on Monday, as the Alexandria Aces (9-12) captured a blowout 10-4 win at Allen High School.
The Alexandria Aces were led by Lucas Quary's hitting. Quary went 1-3, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the third inning.
The McKinney Marshals had no answer for Nathan Aultman, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The McKinney Marshals managed just three hits off of Aultman, who allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out four during his six innings of work.
Kacey Merck ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in five innings, walked two and struck out seven.
