Kyle Kubat kept the Victoria Generals (10-7) off the board during his seven innings of work and the East Texas Pump Jacks (15-3) beat the Victoria Generals, 3-0.

Kubat allowed six hits, no walks and struck out six.

A bright spot for the Victoria Generals in the defeat was Jordan Pacheco, who allowed only three runs while striking out five.

Pacheco ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year.
