The McKinney Marshals (2-14) had a tough outing on Thursday, as the Acadiana Cane Cutters (9-7) dominated in a 9-3 win at Allen High School.
The Acadiana Cane Cutters scored three runs in the fourth on an RBI single by Mitchell Nau, a wild pitch, and an RBI single by Gabe Woods.
Nau racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Acadiana Cane Cutters.
Andrew Richardson put together a nice outing. Richardson held the McKinney Marshals hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.
Kaleb Manual got the win, running his season record to 4-0. He allowed three runs over six innings. Manual struck out three, walked two and gave up six hits.
Kennedy Winn (0-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out one.
