The Alexandria Aces (3-7) continued to pile up the runs on Wednesday, scoring three runs in the last three innings, en route to an easy 13-2 win over the Woodlands Strykers (3-7) at Bringhurst Field.
The Alexandria Aces scored eight runs in the first on a fielder's choice, a two-run double by Lucas Quary, a three-run double by Stryker Brown, an RBI single by Nathan Hale, and a hit by pitch.
Quary racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Alexandria Aces.
The Woodlands Strykers' lineup had no answer for Rob Thomas. Thomas held the Woodlands Strykers hitless over four innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out six.
Jacob Rodrigue recorded his first win of the year for the Alexandria Aces. He allowed two runs over five innings. Rodrigue struck out two, walked five and gave up four hits.
Fabian Arcizog (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed eight runs in two-thirds of an inning, walked one and struck out two.
