Alex Klonowski drove in the go-ahead run to give the Victoria Generals (12-7) the lead in the seventh inning, as the Victoria Generals hung on to beat the McKinney Marshals (2-16) 5-2 on Sunday.
After Kevin Daniels singled, Klonowski doubled, plating Daniels.Billy Richard got on base three times in the game for the Victoria Generals. He singled in the sixth and eighth innings.
Jordan Pacheco picked up the win for the Victoria Generals. Pacheco allowed no earned runs, five hits and one walk while striking out five over eight innings of work.
Despite the loss, the McKinney Marshals' Kennedy Winn dominated the Victoria Generals' batters, giving up two runs and striking out eight.
Winn was charged with his fourth loss of the year.
