The Brazos Valley Bombers (12-5) rolled over the East Texas Pump Jacks 8-2 on Friday at Brazos Valley Bank Ballpark after a six-run rally in the fourth inning.

Braden Mattson racked up five RBIs on three hits for the Brazos Valley Bombers. He singled in the second and third innings and homered in the fourth inning.

Braden Strickland was effective even in defeat, mowing down five the Brazos Valley Bombers batters and allowing one run.

Damian Rivera improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Brazos Valley Bombers. He allowed two runs over six innings. Rivera struck out three, walked one and gave up seven hits.

Jason Jester couldn't get it done on the mound for the East Texas Pump Jacks (15-3), taking a loss. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
