The Rochester Honkers (23-31) and the Waterloo Bucks (28-26) traded the lead six times on Thursday, but the Rochester Honkers ended up on top with an 8-5 win over the Waterloo Bucks.

Brandon Defazio racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Rochester Honkers. He singled in the fifth inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Matt Kent handled the Waterloo Bucks' lineup with ease, racking up seven strikeouts. Kent allowed no earned runs, five hits and no walks over seven innings.

Kevin Kaczmarski racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Waterloo Bucks. He singled in the second inning and homered in the sixth inning.

Jared Miller got the win, running his season record to 3-2. Miller struck out three, walked none and gave up no hits.
