Thursday was a great day for Jake Powers, as Powers struck out 10 batters to carry the Waterloo Bucks (25-25) to a 7-3 victory over the St. Cloud Rox (17-33) at Riverfront Stadium-Waterloo, IA.

The Waterloo Bucks were led by Dan Sheppard's hitting. Sheppard went 4-5, drove in one and scored three runs. He singled in the first, third, fifth, and sixth innings.

Andy Urban (0-5) took the loss for the St. Cloud Rox. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked four and struck out three.
