The Wisconsin Woodchucks (24-19) took the last of seven lead changes in a back-and-forth affair against the La Crosse Loggers (30-13), securing a 8-7 victory on Friday at Athletic Park.

The Wisconsin Woodchucks pulled out the win thanks to a strong ninth inning. A wild pitch scored Skyler Ewing to give the Wisconsin Woodchucks the lead for good.

Ewing was solid at the plate for the Wisconsin Woodchucks. Ewing went 3-4 and scored four runs. He singled in the second, third, and fifth innings.

Jimmy Bosco racked up four RBIs on three hits for the La Crosse Loggers. He homered in the third inning, doubled in the fifth inning, and singled in the ninth inning.

Max Ising got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He allowed one run over one inning. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Cole Baylis was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
