Kyle Turner helped the Mankato MoonDogs pull ahead for the duration in the seventh inning. Craig Massoni singled to start the seventh. He then went from first to second on an RBI single by Chris Munoz. Finally, Turner came to the plate with the score tied at seven in the seventh inning, and reached on an error, plating Massoni.
The Mankato MoonDogs staved off the Waterloo Bucks as the Waterloo Bucks were unable to match the Mankato MoonDogs down the stretch.
The Waterloo Bucks scored one run in the eighth on an RBI double by Dan Sheppard. Unfortunately, the Waterloo Bucks weren't able to take the lead back.
Munoz racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Mankato MoonDogs. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the seventh inning.
