Bryan allows no runs to lead the Waterloo Bucks past the Rochester Honkers 7-0

Micah Bryan kept the Rochester Honkers (13-19) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Waterloo Bucks (19-13) beat the Rochester Honkers, 7-0.

Bryan allowed two hits, four walks and struck out five.

The Waterloo Bucks' bats came to life in the eighth inning. In the inning the Waterloo Bucks scored five runs.

Benny Roberts pushed the Waterloo Bucks ahead, in the sixth inning, and the lead lasted until the final out. With the game scoreless in the sixth inning Roberts came to the plate and tripled, plating Peter Leonello.

Leonello had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He singled in the sixth inning and doubled in the third and eighth innings.

Matt Kent couldn't get it done on the mound for the Rochester Honkers, taking a loss. He lasted just 6 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out seven, and allowed two runs.

The Waterloo Bucks were sparked by Riley Good and Leonello, who teamed up for seven hits and four RBIs.
