Trey Richardson went 1-3 and hit a home run as the Peninsula Oilers (19-16) took home a 5-1 victory over the Alaska Goldpanners (15-18) in eight innings at Growden Memorial Park on Tuesday.He homered in the third inning.
Michael Coates put together a nice outing. Coates gave up just two hits, allowed one earned run, walked three and struck out four during his five innings of work.
It was a good day at the plate for the Alaska Goldpanners' Matt Nadolski. Nadolski went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fifth inning.
Matt Milke ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fifth loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out six, and allowed five runs.
